Lethal Weapon
Based on the movie by the same name, Lethal Weapon is a remotely recent serie. A perfect mix between action movies and comedy shows, you're sure to stay on the edge of your seat, all the while laughing until you cry.
Lethal Weapon is the story of Roger Murtaugh, a 50 years old police officer, about to retire to spend time with his family, recently paired with Martin Riggs, a young and wild officer, unafraid of death, almost craving it, since his wife, and soon-to-be-born baby, passed away. Together, they solve crimes, not suprising since they're in the LAPD, and they do it their way, most of the time ending up with them barely escaping death.
What I like most of this TV show is the humour. The chemistry between the characters, the way Murtaugh and Riggs bicker each other, or how they invent stories to manipulate suspects, makes me laugh each time. Riggs being careless amd getting both of them in messy, and dangerous, situations, never gets old.
Also, the family vibe we get from the show. Riggs lost his family, and Trish, Murtaugh's wife, immediately accepts him in hers, even though Riggs got her husband shot many times, and even wrecked their living room wall with a car.
In the end, Lethal Weapon is an action-packed comedy show, full of cheesy moments, and cringy ones. If you start this show, prepare yourself. Go to the bathroom, get some snacks and water bottles, because you won't be able to stop until you're finish.
